6、携程公布 2018 年第一季度财报,利润大涨 19 倍
截至今年 3 月 31 日,携程该季度营收 67 亿元人民币,同比增长 11%,净利润为 11 亿元人民币,是去年同期的 21 倍。该季度,携程住宿业务增长 23% 达到 25 亿元收益,携程称,利润增长主要来自于一系列投资收益。

8、北京目前的共享单车少了一半,50% 处在闲置状态
据北京市交通委停车管理处副调研员胡海明引用最新统计数据,截止今年 4 月底,北京的共享单车总数已控制在 190 万辆左右,较去年 9 月最高峰时的 235 万辆下降近两成。胡海明还说,北京共享单车活跃度不到 50%,仍有一半处在闲置状态,未来还将采取减量调控等措施进行管控。

Amazon opened the Marketplace Appstore on Monday, so for the first time sellers can purchase third-party services like pricing, promotions, inventory management and advertising through their Amazon account. The new app store could open third-party ecommerce developers to the million or so US SMBs selling on Amazon, CNET reports.
Amazon has also been trying to clear the air with developers, who are wary because of its unclear policies and enforcement and increased preference for brand-direct deals. "Many developers have innovated and created applications that complement our tools and integrate with our service. We created the Marketplace Appstore to help businesses more easily discover these applications,” the company said in a statement.

More brands are bringing the strategic functions of programmatic buying in-house, relegating their agencies to specialized roles.
Sixty-five percent of brands are either completely or partially buying programmatic media in-house, according to a white paper released Tuesday by the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) Data Center of Excellence. The white paper surveyed marketers at 119 US brands across 16 verticals.
Brands are bringing programmatic in-house to gain more control over their media buying and data strategies, said Orchid Richardson, VP managing director at the IAB Data Center of Excellence. By getting closer to the systems and tools used to buy media, brands can better control targeting and effectiveness to drive ROI.
“It has to do with [agencies’] ability to optimize quickly,” Richardson said. “It’s several layers of people to get through to make those adjustments. When there’s a chain of command, the sheer time it takes has a negative impact on ROI.”

Quora, the Q&A platform, is expanding its advertising offerings with the launch of image ads. Announced Tuesday, the new format is available on mobile and desktop.
Quora launched its self-serve ad platform out of beta about a year ago with text ads. The company says the number of active advertisers using the platform has increased from 300 at launch to now more than 1,000.
To run image ads on Quora, advertisers upload a company logo (30 x 30 pixels) and an image (1,200 x 628 recommended, 600 x 314 minimum) that displays next to the headline and description of the ad.

Adobe, which has been busy boosting its capabilities in advertising, content creation and analytics, has now added a major commerce component with the announcement Monday that it will buy Magento Commerce for $1.68 billion.
An open source platform with 300,00 developers, 800 technology partners and 350 integrated systems in its community, Magento provides order management, shipping and predictive intelligence, as well as online stores.
Small to medium-sized brands as well as enterprises like Canon, Rosetta Stone, Coca-Cola, Warner Music Group, Nestlé and Cathay Pacific employ Magento. Mark Lavelle, Magento CEO, will lead the effort within Adobe’s Digital Experience business. Magento’s software was first generally released in 2008. In 2011, it was purchased by eBay, but it went private again in 2015.
“Consumers and businesses now expect every interaction to be shoppable,” EVP and GM Brad Rencher wrote in a post on the Adobe Blog. “This is the future of commerce — Experience-driven commerce,” he said, echoing Adobe’s position that “people buy experiences, not products.”
Adobe “is the only company with leadership in content creation, marketing, advertising, analytics and now commerce,” Rencher said in a statement accompanying the announcement.

Procter & Gamble was the top personal care marketer in digital performance, with an average classification of "gifted" across its 17 brands in the category, according new analysis from Gartner L2 made available to Marketing Dive. The report benchmarked the digital performance, including strengths and weaknesses, of 124 personal care brands.
Kimberly-Clark was ranked second due to strong performances by Huggies and U By Kotex. The company utilizes product merchandising on e-commerce sites and has a high ownership of Amazon Best Sellers in their categories. Johnson & Johnson had the widest distribution with brands in every category, from "genius" to "feeble."
The report also showed that searches for personal care ingredients increased 18% over the past 24 months. Brands like Schmidt's Naturals, Shea Moisture and newcomers like Hello Products are capturing the bulk of these searches because they build their digital presences around ingredient-focused content, such as "charcoal toothpaste" or "shea butter lotion," and can dominate in unbranded visibility on Google searches.

Facebook’s clone of Snapchat’s stories format has grown to 150 million users in the past 14 months, and the social network now aims to monetize that audience with ad sales. Facebook Stories this week started testing the first ads in the U.S., Mexico and Brazil, per TechCrunch.
Facebook Stories ads are 5- to 15-second videos that users can skip, and the company plans to add call-to action-buttons in the coming months. Advertisers can port their Instagram Stories ads to Facebook Stories ads, or ask Facebook to reformat their News Feed ads automatically with matching border colors and text at the bottom.
Facebook Stories users also can now shoot 360-degree photos without the need for a specialized multi-lens camera. The feature has an interface that shows users where to “paint” the camera over their surroundings, letting them fill in missed spots instead of taking a continuous shot like a panorama.
