施华蔻母公司、德国个人护理用品巨头汉高集团宣布成功完成对日本资生堂集团旗下专业美发业务的收购,该业务包括授权品牌资生堂专业美发旗下的芯护理道Sublimic与普盈丝Primience等。交易完成后,资生堂集团将保留日本地区法律实体20%的股份,通过与汉高的密切合作,支持业务进一步增长。此外,汉高集团此次收购的资生堂专业美发业务年销售额超过1亿欧元,拥有约500名员工。

德勤咨询:国企数字化转型,全面提质增效

 

德勤Deloitte最新发布国企改革系列报告之《国企数字化转型 全面提质增效》。调查显示:

 

1.超过六成受访企业都已经启动数字化转型,但各种所有制、各个行业的企业进度不一。

2.从组织架构上看,业务部门逐渐深度参与和主导数字化转型,IT部门单独主导已不多见。

3.在成熟度自评上,超七成受访者认为自身数字化转型处于全球平均水平或低于平均水平,表明还有很大改善空间和提高的愿望。

4.目前已经开展的数字化转型工作集中在企业内部管理的降本增效,通过转型推动业务创新等方面还需进一步提升。

5.数字化转型过程中企业最大的三大挑战是“原有多个信息化系统的整合、数据质量和可用性、缺乏统一的数字化转型愿景和目标”。

 

爱立信:预计全球5G用户数年底前将突破10亿户大关

数据公司IDC发布2021年中国BaaS厂商市场份额报告。报告显示,蚂蚁集团凭借蚂蚁链以24.4%的市场占有率排名第一,腾讯云、华为云分别以16.2%和11.5%的市场占有率位居第二、第三位。IDC指出,2021年中国BaaS市场实现1 .88亿美元的市场规模,在2020年的高位增速下仍有提升,增速达到92.6%。

Instagram 正在测试验证用户年龄的新方法

  

Picture and video staring giant Instagram is responding to growing concern about  age appropriate usage by testing new verification techniques.

 

Traditionally Instagram asked a new user to upload ID so join the service. But now it's testing two new methods: record a video selfie or ask mutual friends to verify their age.

 

Instagram mandates that its users are 13 years or older, though in some countries, the minimum age is higher. The service began asking people to provide their age when signing up in 2019.

 

When it knows a new user is a teen (13-17), Instagram then defaults to age-appropriate experiences such as registering them into private accounts, preventing unwanted contact from adults they don’t know and limiting the options advertisers have to reach them with ads.

 

The new restrictions should tighten up the sign-in and prevent teens from circumventing the restrictions.

Verve Group, the ad tech subsidiary of German ad software holding company MGI, has struck again with the acquisition of mobile DSP Dataseat.

 

The companies declined to share a price for the deal, which was announced on Tuesday, but all 25 of Dataseat’s employees, including co-founders David Philippson and Paul Hayton, will join Verve Group, which hired around 100 people during the first half of this year. Its total headcount now stands at more than 450.

 

The rationale behind the acquisition is simple, said Ionut Ciobotaru, co-CEO of Verve Group. It’s a privacy thing.

 

“We’ve been investing in privacy for a while now, from ATOM to Beemray,” Ciobotaru said, referring first to Verve Group’s homegrown “Anonymous Targeting on Mobile” solution, which uses on-device data to create cohorts rather than relying on identity-based targeting. Beemray is a contextual targeting company Verve Group acquired last year.

 

“The future is less about identity and more about group measurement,” Ciobotaru said.

Strictly speaking, “in-game advertising” refers to intrinsic in-game ads – that is, ads that appear in a game world during gameplay.

 

In addition to virtual billboards, these types of ads include branded in-game assets (see Gatorade coolers on the sidelines of basketball games) and environments (see Balenciaga’s branded experiences in Fortnite featuring unique outfits, locations and quests for players to complete).

Ads that appear outside the game world itself, but are still encountered in the course of playing a game, fall into the “around-the-game ads” bucket (for lack of a better term).

 

This category includes display ads that appear in a game’s start or pause menus, as well as interstitial pre-roll and mid-roll video formats.

Open-web programmatic in-game ad infrastructure is still in its early days, so almost all in-game ad placements are sold via private marketplace (PMP) deals, Petruzzelli said.

 

Dynamic in-game ads therefore remain a small but growing slice of the video game ad market. Today, most programmatic video game placements tend to be around-the-game ads, such as rewarded videos, interstitial ads and display ads in menus.

 

Microtransactions and more

 

Video game advertising is heavily associated with mobile game apps, which are largely free to play thanks to ad support. However, Microsoft and Sony recently announced plans to integrate ads into free-to-play games on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
